I started looking online for gently used Monique Lhuillier dresses. Being new to online purchasing I took caution to give a considerable amount of money to someone I have never met for a product I have never seen. Initially I was going to purchase the "Scarlet" dress from someone I had met off of a wedding blog site. She ended up not honoring her end of the bargain. Britta contacted me initially concerning a dress I had for sale. She was very understanding when initially I was wary about handing over my dress to someone I had met online. She provided references and worked in other ways to calm the nerves of a "second dress" bride. She took great care of my gown working to allow only very interested buyers to try it on and making sure they removed their make-up prior to doing so. Although I knew it wasn't the gown for me I was very happy that she took this special effort because of the quality of the gown. She was able to help me sell my dress and deal with all the details that I did not have time to do as a working professional and MBA student. During the course of the transaction, she was always professional and on meeting her face-to-face I could tell she was a completely genuine person. I would and HAVE recommended Britta already - I just wish I would have known about her before I had purchased my second dress!

I live in the North of England and was so disappointed not to be able to find the dress that I had my heart set on within the timeframe and budget, that I had that I searched online for Jenny Packham - Papillon. Not a lot materialized from this search until I saw a link to Dream Bridal LA who reportedly had this dress for sale. I emailed immediately and was very pleased to receive almost an immediate reply confirming the availability of the dress. After I put on the Melissa Sweet Lia in a bridal salon, I fell in love. Visions of walking down the aisle with a sweeping chapel veil started swimming in my head up until I saw the price tag. I immediately hit the internet to search high and low for my dream gown at an affordable price. What a disaster that initially turned out to be! It was impossible to find Melissa Sweet sample sales in Southern California. I turned to searching for gowns previously worn by brides. I didn't know my exact measurements so trying on potential dresses was vital to me. This, of course, limited the number of dresses available to me. Additionally, the dresses I was able to actually try on turned out to be replicas of the Lia (Marisa 726), not the authentic Melissa Sweet. All hope seemed to be lost until I stumbled across Dream Bridal LA. I gave Britta a call and my experience from then on was just perfect! Her initial "hello" exuded friendliness and understanding of the predicament I was in. She immediately emailed me directions to Dream Bridal LA, turn by turn since I'm unfamiliar with the Los Angeles area. She even welcomed any additional family members or friends interested in accompanying me. When I finally met Britta, she was nothing but friendly, patient, accommodating, and professional. Most important, though, is the fact that she never once pressured me into purchasing my gown. She made sure I was 110% sure it was the gown I wanted, not a gown she wanted to make a profit off of.
