In all possible instances we provide buying brides with the original proof of purchase to authenticate the gown. We always ensure the gowns we purchase are authentic and stake our reputation on it. When you receive one of our gowns, there's no mistaking its authenticity. Are your gowns authentic? In a word, Yes! We spend a great deal of time authenticating gowns to ensure they are absolutely genuine. Our reputation is built upon generating true value by selling beautiful, authentic, designer gowns at affordable prices. How are you able to sell your gowns at such a discount? We are an internet bridal salon which keeps our overhead low. Also, we spend a tremendous amount of time researching internet channels and inventory at salons nationwide. Ultimately, we purchase our gowns at a discount and pass the savings along to you. We spend our time finding The Perfect Dress so our brides can spend their valuable time on other wedding priorities. What is the condition of your gowns? The condition of all our gowns within our inventory is stated within the gown's detailed description. Please keep in mind that silk/satin gowns will require pressing upon receipt. Classifications: Brand New with Tags - Absolutely brand new, unaltered, with hanging store/designer tags attached. Purchasing a once worn gown is an excellent way to wear the luxury label of your dreams, but at a significant discount to retail. What is the DBLA rating? Do you accept returns? We do accept returns! We know what an emotional purchase a wedding dress can be and we want to put our buying brides at ease. We offer most of our gowns with the following return policy. Please check the gown's 'Return Policy' within the gown's description to confirm whether your gown is offered with the following policy. 'Final Sale' gowns are excluded from the following return policy. You must contact us via phone or email within the first 24 hours of receiving our gown to confirm whether you will return the gown. If we do not hear from you within the first 24 hours of its receipt, no returns will be accepted thereafter. Should you decide it just isn't the right gown for you for whatever reason, you should call or email us within 24 hours of the gown's receipt and proceed to ship the gown back to us on the next business day, insured and at your expense. The gown must be received within 5 business days in the exact same condition as sent. Upon receipt if there is no anomaly, we will immediately refund payment for the dress only. The following purchases are considered as-is or final sale and no refunds or returns will be honored: We do not accept returns on Final Sale gowns. We do not accept returns on gowns shipped outside of the United States. We do not accept returns on any veils, accessories or shoes. Why should I purchase a gown from Dream Bridal LA? Why is it any different than buying a dress from an individual bride? Besides saving money, what other benefit is there to purchasing a gown below retail? Do you repurchase the gowns that brides originally purchase from you? If I want to consign my wedding dress with you, what are the terms? We ask all brides who are interested in consigning their gowns with us to ship their gown to us. Our Consignment Agreement secures the business terms with our consigning brides. While most consignment agreements stipulate a 50% commission, we seek only 30% of the proceeds. Please contact us with any questions or for a copy of our Agreement. We look forward to sharing just how simple our process is! How do I measure myself? It is always better to visit a professional seamstress to get true measurements. Another option is to let a friend help you measure yourself, as doing it alone will prove inaccurate. When measuring, don't forget to include your undergarments you will wear as these will certainly affect your measurements. Be sure to measure through the fullest parts of your bust, waist and hips. Posture is key and be sure to keep your back straight and your arms down at your side. Remember that bridal gowns generally run 1 - 2 sizes smaller than regular 'street wear' clothing sizes. Bridal gowns in almost every instance will require some alteration to make the fit perfect. It is always better to purchase a size up than putting pressure on yourself to diet a size down. If you are local to Los Angeles, we have a wonderful and reasonable seamstress referral to offer. Do you have designer sizing charts available? Yes, please click here to get general sizing charts for some of the high-end designers we carry. These should only be used for general guidance to determine your bridal size for a specific designer. How do I purchase a gown? DBLA provides a very secure transaction process to all of our buying brides via our e-commerce website. Our checkout process functions just like all other e-commerce websites. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards for internet purchases. The cost of the gown quoted, plus shipping and sales tax (California residents only) will be totaled to reach your transaction balance. Payment in full must be received prior to a gown's shipment. Do you charge sales tax? All brides who have a shipping address within the State of California will be assessed state sales tax (8.25%) in addition to the gown prices quoted within this site. This includes all California brides who purchase merchandise which is: . Within DBLA's active inventory, . Being sold by DBLA on consignment on behalf of another bride, or . Sourced via DBLA's finding service. Will my personal information be kept private? Absolutely! We do collect personal information when completing transactions, including names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers. We reserve the right to retain personal information for DBLA's business purposes, but under no circumstances will that information be sold or sourced to any third party for any reason. Where is Dream Bridal LA located? Can I try on a gown? We are located in West Hollywood, California, right in the heart of Los Angeles. We are primarily an online bridal salon but we do invite local brides to our location to try on a gown! We ask brides to first review our online inventory which is updated weekly. Because our gowns are not samples in the traditional sense, we ask brides to be gentle and makeup-free. Please email or call us and we will set up an appointment time for you to meet with us. How long will it take to receive my gown? Orders placed by 12pm PST will ship the same business day. Orders placed after 12pm PST will ship the following business day. We will send you a separate confirmation with your tracking number. All of the gowns posted to our website are immediately available for purchase. It can often take four to eight months to receive a gown when ordered from a salon. We save you that wait, giving you the ability to move on with the many other decisions you'll need to make when planning your Big Day. Please note that during certain times of the year Dream Bridal LA does close for vacation. During those times our brides will be notified of any delays that arise due to our inability to immediately fulfill orders. How do I go about finding a professional dry cleaner after my Big Day? Dry cleaning your wedding gown, whether to preserve it or to prepare it for resale, is an important post-wedding to do item to keep in mind after the dust settles. Choosing a dry cleaner can be tricky. It is important to not base your decision on price alone. Inexperienced dry cleaners can ruin a gown and its chances to be shared with future generations or another bride. First, check with your friends for a referral. Or, visit your regular dry cleaners and ask how many high-end wedding or cocktail gowns they typically clean. If you live in a larger city, check with the salons of prominent designers to see who they use to dry clean their runway gowns. Keep in mind that gowns with full skirts and intricate beading will cost more to clean than gowns with slimmer silhouettes. For brides living in the greater Los Angeles area, we highly recommend Peter's Magnolia Cleaners in West Hollywood (www.petersmagnoliacleaners.com). They can handle even the dirtiest of party dresses and refresh them to their former glory. Tell them Dream Bridal LA sent you! What is your shipping policy? Shipping is extra and is added to the prices quoted for our gowns. We ship all of our gowns via either FedEx Ground or DHL Ground, which delivers between two to five business days, depending on the bride's location. Our accessories will ship via USPS Priority Mail. The cost to ship within the continental US is a flat rate based upon the total order. Included in shipping are freight, direct signature, materials, and insurance. Gowns are shipped as soon as payment is cleared. A separate email confirmation with a tracking number will be sent after the shipment has departed. A signature will be required upon delivery for all gown shipments. If you would like to expedite your shipment, please email us and we will provide you with an overnight or two-day express shipping quote. Please add $25 to all the following rates for shipments to Hawaii and Alaska. We do ship internationally! For international shipments outside of the US, please email us prior to ordering for a shipping quote. We will need your country, city and postal code. Shipments are sent via DHL and arrive within three business days. All international brides will be responsible for any additional VAT payments due upon delivery.
